As a Producer - Owner of US Premium Beef and a Gelbvieh Bull Breeder our objective is to produce Gelbvieh Bulls that are in the top right hand quadrant for phenotype and genotype.
Our Gelbvieh Bulls progeny must have the potential to maximize their monetary value on the grid, with every bench mark along the way being a marketing opportunity.
We believe in order to unlock a calfs genetic potential it starts with sound birth weights, which lead to healthier calves that wean heavier and transition smoother to feed.
This philosophy goes into all of our breeding plans and the Gelbvieh Bulls that come out of our program must have the right phenotype to grow soundly and the right genotype to grade on the grid. Last but not least, they must retain and pass on the maternal attributes of the Gelbvieh cattle breed with milk-ability, longevity and docile temperaments so they remain healthier and easy to handle.
